Floating Blocks plugin makes selected elements in the template floating, ie. visible although page content is scrolled down. To create an floating block define the floating element's ID in the plugins configuration, wrap the template block in <div id="elementID">....</div> and finally create stylesheets for elemntID. For demo scroll down this page on a pc and watch the right sidebar (well, the left side menu does the same but not through the Floating Blocks plugin). Floating Blocks functionality is disabled on tablets and smartphones.This plugin does not require use of cookies.

Floating Blocks plugin requires a preinstalled pluginloader and plugin (both included in core distribution package version 1.4.1 and higher).
Download and uncompress floating_blocks.zip Upload the entire floating_blocks directory to your "plugins" directory.
You just did made a floating block.
Tested with CMSimple_XH version 1.7.2 and php 7 but should run with any version of CMSimple and php 4.3 or later. XH-certified.
